Before you ask
How do I count my missed calls?
Open your phone's recent calls and filter by missed. Count a normal week, not a holiday week. If you have a business line or a VoIP system, its call report will show unanswered calls.
Why do missed callers not call back?
Most people who need a plumber, a dentist or a table tonight simply ring the next business on Google. The first business to respond usually gets the job.
What is a missed call text-back?
When you can't answer, the caller gets an instant text from your business, for example 'Sorry we missed you, what can we help with?'. Their reply, name and postcode go into your CRM with a reminder to ring back.
Does this work for sole traders on a mobile?
Yes. Missed calls on your mobile can be forwarded to a business number that sends the text and logs the lead, so you keep your own phone.
